PUTNAM STREET LOFT APARTMENTS

We just completed extensive remodeling to two loft apartments on Putnam Street in historic Marietta, Ohio. These luxury apartments feature an open space living concept with high ceilings, exposed brick, hardwood floors, granite countertops, and modern appliances.
Perry & Associates Interior

Perry & Associates Interior

The new Perry & Associates building needed renovations from floor to ceiling — literally. We restored the pan ceiling, which had suffered significant damage. We also restored the terrazzo flooring on the first floor and the hardwood on the second floor. Entering the offices now, you would never guess that the building had required so much work.

Front Street Bistro

The Bistro, 174 Front Street, was a condemned building the rear of the building was collapsed. We built a new block and brick rear section that is currently the kitchen area. We then added two restrooms and a new storefront. We saved the historic tile flooring and added pan style ceiling in the front of the restaurant. We installed a new HVAC system in the back over the kitchen and spiral ductwork that feeds the entire space.

We had the honor of renovating the Chuck McCoy Athletic Facility at Marietta College, which is used by the men’s and women’s soccer teams. We renovated two locker rooms, the laundry room, the common area hallways, and the restrooms. This project involved demolition, structural steel beams and columns, steel stud framing, rough and finish carpentry, insulation, interior and exterior doors, drywall, paint, FRP wall coverings, flooring, and acoustic ceilings.

Sterling Service Center

Sterling Service Center

The Sterling Service Center was in need of refurbishing as well as renovation. We fixed the overhang and the building facade, which had experienced some significant damage over time. We then painted the new facade, added 3D lettering, and the service center now looks like it is a brand new building.

The Hackett Hotel

The complex that houses The Galley, The Adelphia Music Hall, and The Hackett Hotel was built in the 1890s. The portion of the building where The Hackett now exists had been left untouched for several years. Along with updates, extensive repair work and cleanup was also necessary.

408 Juliana

408 Juliana (Parkersburg)

A project whose objective was to essentially recreate an existing office in a new location, this property required detailed woodworking and finished carpentry. A recess was added to a wall to allow for built-in bookshelves from the existing office. The deadline was extremely tight but we were able to accomplish all tasks effectively, efficiently, and on time.

Perry & Associates

We tend to engage in numerous historical renovation projects. That is just part of being in a historic river town. The Perry & Associates location required a lot of renovation. The ceiling was replaced entirely as it had been damaged over the years. The original terrazzo floor on the first floor and the hardwood on the second floor were fully restored. All work was done based on state and federal tax requirements so that the customer could benefit from historical renovation tax credits.

Hometown Motor Sports

Hometown Motor Sports

Hometown Motor Sports was built by converting an International Truck dealership to a Honda store. We converted the parts counter and small parts storage space to a new motorcycle showroom, added offices and painted the ceiling and bar joists. We installed new granite tile flooring to the showroom, remodeled two ADA compliant restrooms and repaved the parking lot. An awning was added in front of the door along with a new sign and base at the street.

The property currently available at Reno Business Park was built out for a light industrial company specifically. The warehousing area, which includes 14 tailgate loading docks and 8 drive-in doors, has been renovated. All offices have been finished completely but can be customized per specifications. There is also free acreage behind the existing unit that could be used for expansion.

Water Tank, Reno Business Park

Water Tank, Reno Business Park

The paint on the water tank at Reno Business Park was peeling and the tank itself was rusting, making the prominent landmark an eyesore. We were given the objective of making the water tank look like a fish tank with fish inside. We had to use a paint specifically designed for water tanks, which is manufactured mainly to cover surfaces and stand up to weather. The paint tends to be sticky and difficult to work with. Nonetheless we were able to execute the design.

Hometown Motor Sports Showroom

We were able to renovate the showroom so that it could become a showcase for products rather than a distraction. New flooring can make such a tremendous difference in any location. Now you can see the reflection of the bikes in the floor when you go in to shop!
